Our Trip to MIDO in Milan - Discovering What’s Next For Occhiali

There’s something incredibly special about walking through the doors of the MIDO Eyewear Exhibition in Milan.

It’s the global stage for eyewear crafted by SO many extremely talented independent eyewear designers. The place where creativity, craftsmanship and innovation collide. And this year, we were there with one thing in mind: To discover what’s next for us at Occhiali Bespoke Eyewear Boutique.

Colour. Character. Confidence.

This year’s show was bursting with colour, sculptural shapes and thoughtful detailing. Frames with volume. Cut-away sections revealing secondary tones. Unexpected contrasts. Pieces that feel less like accessories and more like wearable art.

And yes… we’ve brought some of that magic back to Cupar.

We’ve stocked up on fresh new styles for our MATTTEW collection, and they are exceptional!

Think:

  • Expressive colourways

  • Interesting architectural shapes

  • Beautiful detailing and depth

  • Frames that make a statement, without overpowering you

These new arrivals are due end of February/start of March, and we genuinely cannot wait to unveil them properly.

Keep your eyes peeled - we’ll be announcing their arrival very soon!

More Newness on the Way

While in Milan, we also took the opportunity to top up some of your favourite collections.

Over the next couple of months, you’ll see:

  • Fresh colour options

  • New shapes in existing ranges

  • Limited-run pieces

  • Styles we know our Occhiali clients will absolutely love

Every frame has been chosen intentionally. Not because it’s trending. Not because it’s safe. But because it fits our boutique and you.

Why We Go to MIDO

As an independent eyewear boutique in Scotland, it’s important to us that we don’t follow the crowd.

We travel.
We research.
We hand-select.

We choose frames that you won’t see everywhere else, for those pieces that feel special the moment you put them on.

And the best part… Some of what’s coming is incredibly limited.

So if you love being first, love exclusivity, and love wearing something truly different…

You’re going to want to watch this space!
